Project Implementation
The project portfolio below is a sampling that highlights Becky’s contributions to energy efficiency initiatives and showcases her leadership in advancing impactful, community-focused solutions.
Marketing and Research
In her marketing role at Veregy, Becky builds scalable enablement and go-to-market resources that help our teams win, deliver, and grow in priority markets. Becky leverages her sales experience to develop practical, field-ready sales enablement tools, templates, and messaging frameworks that make it easier for teams to communicate value and move opportunities forward. She also leads Veregy’s NextGen Hub, where new and emerging technologies are identified and vetted, then translated into clear enablement assets and development training to accelerate adoption. Supporting Veregy’s growth markets: Industrial, Federal, and Healthcare, Becky partners closely with teams to provide research, market insights, and tailored enablement that strengthen pipeline development and advance strategic growth initiatives.
Federal Government Projects
Across Becky’s federal portfolio, she has helped agencies plan, fund, and execute large-scale energy and infrastructure upgrades that deliver measurable, long-term performance improvements. She quarterbacked a $37.2M GSA Great Lakes Region (Region 5) task order under GSA’s National Deep Energy Retrofit (NDER) program, an ESPC initiative designed to drive deeper-than-typical energy savings through comprehensive, bundled retrofits across multiple federal facilities. At Naval Station Great Lakes (IL), she led a ~$5M energy controls project that included a 20-year repair-and-replacement service plan and a full base audit to identify additional savings opportunities and prioritize future measures. Becky also supported a $2.5M HVAC, lighting, and controls project at the USPS facility on Harrison Street in Chicago, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
State and Local Government Projects
In Becky’s work with State and Local Government clients across Illinois, she has helped public agencies identify, fund, and implement practical energy-efficiency and facility improvement projects that reduce operating costs while improving occupant comfort and service delivery. A key example is McHenry County, where she led grant writing and administration to secure a $2,475,900 ARRA Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG), coordinating with the U.S. Department of Energy and county stakeholders from application through award and implementation. She has supported community facility upgrades such as the Schiller Park Library improvements (including a computer lab addition, humidity-related enhancements, and vestibule upgrades to help cut heating and cooling expense), and managed county and park district energy projects including DuPage County lighting upgrades and lighting controls as well as Skokie Park District ice rink lighting retrofits, efforts aligned with the district’s broader LED conversion progress at facilities including Skatium Ice Arena.
