Ensuring peak performance for new and existing facilities.
Now more than ever, buildings are being designed and built with environmental goals in mind that provide improved occupant comfort as well as energy efficiency.
To support these goals, Veregy has developed a proven team of commissioning professionals with expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) controls and low voltage systems. As the owner’s representative, our commissioning team provides these and other services:
- Cx Program Development – Control System Design and Review
- New Construction Cx (Owner & GC) – Cooling/Heating Plant Optimization
- LEED Project Support – Measurement & Verification (M&V)
- Existing Building RCx & MBCx
Building Commissioning Services
The Veregy Cx team has acted as the Owners Rep and 3rd Party Commissioning Authority for 250 buildings totaling over $9 billion in construction costs for over fifteen years.
New Construction Commissioning (Cx)
Verify that the facility or system satisfies the owner’s functional needs. We integrate commissioning into the overall project process to ensure a collaborative commissioning strategy from owners as well as design and construction teams.
Existing Building Commissioning
The process of testing current building systems, repairing or replacing failed components, and optimizing the performance of building controls to save energy and improve occupant comfort.
Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx)
Sets the foundation for a successful persistent commissioning program that integrates energy metering and automated fault detection and diagnostics into the project.
We offer a prescriptive approach that meets all requirements of LEED v3 (2009) or v4 (2012).
An augmentation to the LEED Prerequisite and Enhanced Commissioning that sets the foundation for a successful persistent commissioning program to integrate energy metering and automated fault detection and diagnostics into the project.
The collaborative approach we use with the facility is spearheaded by Veregy’s emphasis on project leadership through planning and execution, all woven together tightly by the practice of thorough communication.
