Lake Land College
Lake Land College developed a long-range infrastructure master plan to address deferred maintenance problems utilizing energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy strategies to reduce the college’s carbon footprint and environmental impact. These goals have been achieved through energy-saving initiatives in partnership with Veregy.
Huntley CSD #158
Facing rising energy costs and aging systems, Huntley District 158 sought out fiscal options for upgrading the comfort of their facilities and cutting energy use. Veregy enabled the District to leverage a financing mechanism called Energy Saving Performance Contracting (ESPC) to pay for the improvements via energy and operational savings.
Village of Mundelein
As part of a 20-year redevelopment and revitalization of the Village’s downtown district, a comprehensive plan was developed that included bringing together three municipal Public Works operations onto one campus. Working closely with staff and the Village, Veregy contracted architects, engineers, and consultants to create a unified campus design of three municipal operations.
Carlinville Public Safety Center
Carlinville had been planning an upgrade for years and the city was now able to purchase a 6,800 sq ft building that transformed into a new state-of-the-art Police Department, emergency management, and public services facility. The facility includes a secure lobby, Carlinville Emergency Management Agency (CEMA), administrative offices, police dispatch room, a processing room, holding rooms, and an evidence room.
Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport
Veregy collaborated with the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport (KSPI) to design and implement a project to improve the airport’s operating budget and provide added revenue. Veregy provided a Guaranteed Energy Savings project consisting of 2.88 MW of solar arrays spanning across three sites.
