CORAS Charity Golf Outing, Coordinated by Veregy, Raises $16,850+ to Support Appalachian Children Coalition

With support from more than 25 sponsors and 120 golfers across 30 teams, the 2026 Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) Charity Golf Outing raised a record-breaking $16,856.82 for the Appalachian Children Coalition.

Veregy was proud to once again coordinate this annual event on June 3, 2026, at Eaglesticks Golf Club in Zanesville, Ohio. Education leaders, advocates, and corporate partners came together for a day focused on investing in Appalachian youth. The day combined golf, camaraderie, and a meaningful mission, as participants enjoyed a full round of golf, skills competitions, meals, and time to connect with others who share a commitment to serving students across the region.

“Every year, this outing is a reminder of what can happen when school leaders and business partners come together around a shared purpose. For Veregy, coordinating the CORAS Golf Outing is about more than a day on the course. It is a way to support the Ohio districts we serve while helping the Appalachian Children Coalition expand resources for children and families across the region. We are grateful to everyone who participated, sponsored, and helped make this year’s event a success.”
