Veregy’s recent work at MBS International Airport in Freeland, Michigan, was featured by TIPS as a “Construction Project Spotlight.” The project showcases how cooperative purchasing can streamline procurement while delivering impactful energy and sustainability improvements.
The airport upgrades include a 342 kW solar-powered carport system and six Level 2 EV charging stations to reduce energy costs, support sustainability, and generate additional revenue for the airport.
“I have had a great experience working with Veregy. They have been very responsive to any concerns I have brought forth and have been very creative with solutions to problems.”
– James Canders, MBS Airport Director
“The project progressed smoothly from concept to contract through the use of two TIPS contracts. The TIPS contract methodology gave the airport confidence that the pricing was competitive on a national level.”
