Monitoring School “Vital Signs” and Powering the Future: Veregy Presents at 2025 META Learning Session for Ohio Schools

October 30, 2025

Veregy joined META Solutions, FMX, and NRG for a 2025 META Learning Session, bringing together Ohio K-12 leaders to explore new strategies related to school building performance, energy and operational costs, and long-term energy planning.

Just like your doctor monitors your pulse, blood pressure, and overall health, your buildings need regular checkups too. Veregy’s presentations this year focused on helping schools understand and manage their facility “vital signs” or key performance indicators such as energy costs, air quality, and temperature that reflect overall building health and efficiency.

Jon Saxton (left below), Senior Account Executive, shared how monitoring these metrics can reduce costs, enhance comfort, and improve performance. Tyler Grant (right below), Senior Project Developer, walked attendees through the process of evaluating funding, feasibility, and long-term benefits to determine if solar power is a good fit for their district.

The event provided attendees with practical insights into data-driven facility management, smart energy decision-making, and sustainable technologies that strengthen both school operations and student learning environments.

Veregy’s continued partnership with META Solutions, FMX, and NRG highlights the collective effort to empower Ohio schools with the knowledge and tools to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and embrace renewable energy solutions.
