Veregy Delivers Emergency Supplies to Chinle Community, Navajo Nation

Delivering Emergency Supplies to Chinle, AZ

The Chinle Community, a Navajo Nation, was experiencing an emergency situation due to flooding caused by a 30-year record snowfall and winter season. The flooding caused many people to evacuate their homes and a shortage of food and water supplies in the region. The town’s grocers and food supplies were close to complete exhaustion. Being in a rural area in the northeast quadrant of Arizona, 4 hours from the closest major city, it would take days to refresh their supplies. Recognizing the community’s need for immediate relief, the Veregy team sprung into action and drove 7 hours with a truck and trailer to deliver hundreds of water bottles, non-perishables, and other food supplies to the people of Chinle.

“The Chinle Community is a valued-long term client of Veregy, and we will always be there to help them during their time of need.”

– Vince Esparza, Vice President, Veregy
