Recently, Fox 47 News in Jackson, Michigan spotlighted, Dick Williams, Veregy’s Government Market Leader, and Rick Scheele, the former Jackson County Director of Facilities. During the interview, Dick provided highlights of the Jackson County Energy Project, which includes a multitude of energy conservation measures and facility improvements, such as Solar, Geothermal, Building Automation, HVAC Improvements, LED Lighting, and Wastewater Treatment. With federal grants and energy savings covering the project’s costs, there is zero net cost to the County. Additionally, after approving the initial $28 million for the Phase I Project, the County approved a $7.5 million Addendum to implement additional scope and capture even more savings.
