His strong technical expertise, combined with excellent team building skills and customer management skills, makes him exceptionally qualified to lead large enterprise energy projects.

Rob Wright

Rob Wright, PE, is Veregy’s Director of Development for Federal projects, bringing more than 30 years of experience in performance contracting, engineering development, and project management. He has helped develop and manage more than 30 ESPC and UESC projects, with extensive experience supporting federal agencies including NOAA, the Department of Defense, DOE, GSA, the National Park Service, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and USGS. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Minnesota and is also a Certified Energy Manager, LEED Accredited Professional, and Project Management Professional.

Chris Reichert, PE, CEM

Chris oversees the conception and design of new projects and products to make daily facility management easier and more manageable for clients, looking for solutions to problem areas in the complicated world of facility and energy management.  During his tenure with Veregy, Chris has extensive experience in project management, budgeting, project planning, energy auditing, controls design and programming, software development, and information technology. He has led projects across the country in various market sectors including educational and municipal. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Becky Werra, CDMP, CPSM

Becky, as the Strategic Marketing and Communications Director at Veregy, plays a critical role in supporting the Enterprise and Federal Sales teams. Working closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Regional Sales Directors, she is instrumental in developing innovative marketing campaigns to build sustainable, resilient, and safe communities. With an extensive background spanning 25 years in information systems sales, marketing, and energy performance contracting, Becky’s expertise is diverse and comprehensive. Her portfolio encompasses environmental and energy solutions and information systems, positioning her uniquely to understand and address the complex challenges faced by the manufacturing industry, commercial sectors, and federal governments.

Becky is a LEED-accredited professional, emphasizing her commitment to sustainable building practices. Her educational background includes a certification in information systems project management from the DePaul College of Telecommunications and Information Systems, and she is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional through the Digital Marketing Institute and a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) through the Society for Marketing Professionals (SMPS). Becky holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lakeland University.

Cory Deshazer

Cory Deshazer is an experienced business and operations leader with a strong background in commercial HVAC, building automation, analytics, and building performance. He has led large field service and administrative teams, managed annual P&L responsibility exceeding $40 million, and developed strategic initiatives that drive growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Cory holds a Master of Business Administration and brings a disciplined, people-focused leadership approach to developing teams and strengthening business performance.

Sean Murphy, PE, CCP, CEM, LEED AP

Sean Murphy has over 15 years of experience in energy consulting, commissioning, and construction. Sean leads Veregy’s Consulting Energy Engineering team with over a dozen highly qualified, seasoned professionals providing energy engineering, commissioning, retrocommissioning, energy consulting, decarbonization, energy master planning, energy modeling, owner’s representative, and construction support services. Sean holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and is a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer, Certified Commissioning Professional, Certified Energy Manager, and LEED Accredited Professional.

Trey Thomas

Trey Thomas brings technical expertise in smart building technology, digital services, and energy management platforms. Through his work with Veregy’s Envision platform, Trey helps support manufacturers in monitoring facility performance, streamlining operations, and improving long-term energy efficiency.

Sumit Ray, PE, CEM, LEED, MS, MBA

Sumit Ray is the Principal Engineer and the Center of Excellence lead at CTS. Sumit focuses on developing and managing energy infrastructure projects for K-12 schools, municipalities, large commercial, industrial and educational clients. Also, as a decarbonization practice lead, provides consulting services for utility & energy infrastructure master planning, district energy, combined heat & power, renewable energy and GHG reduction strategies.

As a Center of Excellence lead, Sumit is responsible for developing standardized processes, tools and templates for efficient project development. This is a cloud-based platform for remote access by all engineers.

Sumit has more than 28 years of industry experience. He has PE license for multiple states. He earned a Master of Science in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Florida and an executive MBA from Michigan State University.
