Mission

Purpose
The DE&I Councils will guide and hold the Company accountable in the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of the way we work at Veregy and educate and promote the DE&I to all employees.
Veregy Partners with Michigan SUCCESS Series
Veregy partnered with an advisory committee of Michigan Superintendents to sponsor a three-part, virtual, educational SUCCESS Series on diversity, equity, and inclusion in schools.
The SUCCESS Series provided a collaborative environment for school leaders to discuss key issues, develop action plans, and receive valuable coaching related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Mr. Clarence Anthony, National League of Cities, CEO, Presents to Veregy
Former 24-year Mayor of prominent Florida City, CEO and Executive Director of the National League of Cities, Mr. Clarence Anthony shares his story with Veregy employees.
Mr. Anthony discussed how he had to traverse through some complex barriers and challenges as the first black Mayor of his City and shared his insights into how we, as Veregy, can embrace DE&I, helping us to be a stronger leading company in the coming years.
Veregy Employees Attend Women in Leadership (Lead WEL) Summit
Veregy strongly supports professional development and ongoing training, especially with opportunities that empower the minority of our team. This year, 3 of our Veregy team members attended Arizona’s 3rd Annual Lead WEL Summit for Women in Educational Leadership. This event included women in educational leadership from across Arizona, who shared their stories on successes, struggles, and lessons learned.
Mr. Fundy Speaks with Veregy East
On May 12, 2022 Lawrence Funderburke, aka “Mr. Fundy,” best known for his basketball career joined the Veregy East team for a discussion on DE&I. His impoverished upbringing and diverse life experiences provide a unique vantage point on race relations, cultural biases, educational disparities, empowerment protocols, and legacy initiatives.

Veregy is committed to supporting the success and advancement of Small, MBE, WBE, PBE, VOSB/SDVOSB firms.
