EXPERIENCE ALIGNED WITH FEDERAL REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS
Lake Land College
Lake Land College developed a long-range infrastructure master plan to address deferred maintenance problems utilizing energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy strategies to reduce the college’s carbon footprint and environmental impact. These goals have been achieved through energy-saving initiatives in partnership with Veregy.
The City of North Vernon
The City of North Vernon partnered with Veregy to design and install a Guaranteed Energy Savings Project with the goal of a net zero electric bill. Veregy helped the City of North Vernon become Indiana’s first “Solar City” by installing over 3,900 solar panels, equal to 2.38MW, across 22 different sites throughout the city including the wastewater treatment plant.
Indianapolis Int'l Airport
Veregy collaborated with the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) to create a system that produces energy while reducing costs and eliminating excess charges for peak demand. This energy project included 25 MW of ground-mounted solar and a facilities maintenance contract.
DEMA
Veregy has partnered with the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs to complete a roof mounted solar and parking canopy structures in the Phoenix and Marana areas. This project is the continuation of a 10-year energy service relationship between Veregy and DEMA. Although solar has been the main focus up to this point, Veregy has now moved forward to help DEMA with their master planning and reaching their federally mandated resiliency goals.
NOAA
Veregy has been working with NOAA since 2012 with the goal of increasing the overall efficiency and reliability of the existing HVAC systems at their administrative/scientific weather forecast facilities throughout the 14-state Central Region. Veregy’s efforts are focused on the reduction of electrical energy consumption and enhancement of the quality of the indoor environment.
