VEREGY PROJECTS
Washington County
To reduce operating costs and enhance the working environment, Washington County partnered with Veregy to implement improvements in the Courthouse, County Home, and Children’s Services. This included HVAC equipment upgrades, a new building automation system (BAS), LED Lighting upgrades, replacement/retrofit of water fixtures, and weatherization of windows/doors.
Fairfield Union Schools
Veregy provided an energy project for the Fairfield Union Schools with a guaranteed energy savings of $110,000 annually by upgrading the lighting to LED and replacing HVAC equipment. In the first year, this project over-generated by 202% of the savings target.
Reynoldsburg City Schools
Veregy designed and implemented a turn‐key energy project throughout 14 buildings totaling more than 1,175,000 square feet. Energy efficient HVAC upgrades were made throughout the District, as well as LED lighting retrofit and implementation of Veregy’s Digital Services.
Indianapolis Int'l Airport
Veregy collaborated with the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) to create a system that produces energy while reducing costs and eliminating excess charges for peak demand. This energy project included 25 MW of ground-mounted solar and a facilities maintenance contract.
Groveport Madison Schools
Groveport Madison Schools selected Veregy to enhance indoor air quality, improve comfort, and increase energy efficiencies. This Construction Manager at Risk project included the installation of needle point bipolar ionization units in HVAC systems at eleven buildings, LED lighting upgrades in nine buildings, HVAC unit replacements in two buildings and roof installation in one building.
Coldwater Comm. Schools
Coldwater Community Schools partnered with Veregy to complete an energy project at Coldwater High School and Max Larsen Elementary School. Energy conservation measures included HVAC controls replacement at the high school, integrations with facility management system at the high school, and LED lighting retrofit at both buildings to improve energy and operational efficiency.

THE LATEST FROM VEREGY EAST

In October, Veregy joined forces with META Solutions, FMX, and NRG to present the highly anticipated learning session, “Empowering Ohio Schools: Efficiency, Sustainability, and Smart Energy Purchasing.” The event, designed to help Ohio school districts navigate energy management and sustainability practices, brought together leaders from across the energy and education sectors to share insights and solutions for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.

In today’s fast-evolving environments, facility managers face increasing pressure to optimize building performance, reduce operational costs, and enhance occupant comfort. However, the challenge often lies in managing many stand-alone facility systems and equipment—HVAC, lighting, security, energy monitoring, and other systems—each operating in isolation. This fragmented approach can lead to inefficiencies, deferred maintenance, and excessive energy and operational costs.
