With a focus on stretching taxpayer dollars, the County and Veregy worked together to develop a comprehensive scope of work across 25+ locations that will save approximately $34.1M in energy and operational costs for Jackson County.

Jackson County Airport
With a focus on stretching taxpayer dollars, the County Airport and Veregy worked together to develop a comprehensive energy savings project at the Airport Terminal/Tower – one that will save both energy and operational costs for Jackson County and its taxpayers.
Calhoun County
For decades, the aged Calhoun County Youth Center, built in 1957, had been in critical need of renovations. Veregy brought together the concept of a design-build renovation, guaranteed savings, federal funding opportunities, and other creative methods to make this renovation and energy project a reality.
Ida Public Schools
Ida Public Schools partnered with Veregy to replace aged equipment and enhance learning environments through a geothermal-focused energy project. Ida’s 49-year-old boilers and inefficient air handling equipment were beyond their life expectancy and were likely to fail at any time.
Coldwater Comm. Schools
Coldwater Community Schools partnered with Veregy to complete an energy project at Coldwater High School and Max Larsen Elementary School. Energy conservation measures included HVAC controls replacement at the high school, integrations with facility management system at the high school, and LED lighting retrofit at both buildings to improve energy and operational efficiency.
