Central Region Projects
Adair Co. Courthouse
Veregy’s project with the Adair County Courthouse provides a sustainable solution that renews the facilities’ façade, lowers the long-term operational and maintenance costs, reduces the facility’s consumption of energy, and enhances the quality of the outdoor and indoor environment.
Huntley CSD #158
Facing rising energy costs and aging systems, Huntley District 158 sought out fiscal options for upgrading the comfort of their facilities and cutting energy use. Veregy enabled the District to leverage a financing mechanism called Energy Saving Performance Contracting (ESPC) to pay for the improvements via energy and operational savings.
Lake Land College
Lake Land College developed a long-range infrastructure master plan to address deferred maintenance problems utilizing energy efficiency solutions and renewable energy strategies to reduce the college’s carbon footprint and environmental impact. These goals have been achieved through energy-saving initiatives in partnership with Veregy.
MSD of Wayne Township
MSD of Wayne Township selected with Veregy to develop one of Indiana’s largest Guaranteed Energy Savings Projects to date. With the implementation of this $26.5 million project, MSD Wayne had three main goals: addressing aging and inefficient infrastructure, taking a hard look at the district’s energy consumption, and improving the management of energy utility rates.
Indianapolis Int'l Airport
Veregy collaborated with the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) to create a system that produces energy while reducing costs and eliminating excess charges for peak demand. This energy project included 25 MW of ground-mounted solar and a facilities maintenance contract.
Village of Mundelein
As part of a 20-year redevelopment and revitalization of the Village’s downtown district, a comprehensive plan was developed that included bringing together three municipal Public Works operations onto one campus. Working closely with staff and the Village, Veregy contracted architects, engineers, and consultants to create a unified campus design of three municipal operations.
The City of North Vernon
The City of North Vernon partnered with Veregy to design and install a Guaranteed Energy Savings Project with the goal of a net zero electric bill. Veregy helped the City of North Vernon become Indiana’s first “Solar City” by installing over 3,900 solar panels, equal to 2.38MW, across 22 different sites throughout the city including the wastewater treatment plant.
THE LATEST FROM VEREGY CENTRAL

When patrons approach the Buder and Julia Davis branches of the St Louis Public Library, they would not know that the rooftops of both facilities are covered with solar photovoltaic (PV) panels that are hard at work capturing solar energy and turning it into electricity for the buildings. These solar arrays are part of the library’s ongoing commitment to its energy efficiency and sustainability initiative in collaboration with Veregy, a leading decarbonization company.

In collaboration with Veregy, Adair County has been honored with the Missouri Preservation 2024 Project of the Year Award in the Institutional/Civic Building Restoration category. This prestigious award was presented to the Adair County Commission at a ceremony held at the historic 1917 Missouri State Capital in Jefferson City.

Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport™ (SPI) has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Airports Going Green (AGG) Award, presented during the annual AGG Conference hosted by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) in partnership with the Chicago Department of Aviation, O’Hare, and Midway International Airports.
